I believe a revised strategy is called for to get to my 'ideal' weight target (161 lbs).
Yesterday (Saturday), while my exercise was good (30 mins running), my diet was ill-disciplined to the extent that I did not even record it ! I kid you not. I could rack my brains I suppose and remember most of it but I would rather not. The future is what counts; what is past is past.
The basics I believe are sound. I still plan to stick to the 1700 cals per day but I plan to increase the exercise to two sorties a day whenever possible. The daylight easily permits this; it just requires discipline. Not my strongest suit, I admit, but let us see how I manage with this.
If I can only truly stick to this, I calculate that I should be at my target by the end of August 2008 ! I would most certainly be happy with that.
Will I sink or swim ? Keep checking to find out.
