Daily Report : Day 1 Week 52

by chrisistoofat @ 2008-04-20 - 08:32:13

Brief summary of yesterday (Saturday) :

Calories : 1991. I should not have scoffed the remainder of that packet of Morning Coffee biscuits as there were rather a lot remaining.

Exercise : 30 mins running. Bit lucky with the weather yesterday morning for it poured with rain while I was not running. In the evening went out for walk for about an hour on dusk. Hope soon to be able to report arrival of this summer's nightjars. No nightjars (tad early in the year anyway) but did see a woodcock which are quite scarce and notoriously difficult to spot. Those woods are absolutely alive with creatures if you stand and watch and listen long enough.

On balance, a pretty average day of progress, project-wise.

Your blog made me smile. That is the exact way that I diet also. LOL. Although I dont do it online, I do it in a little diary I carry round as otherwise I end up forgetting about it.

Thanks for response.

Yes, I am always failing to stick to my perfectly clear and reasonable eating plans but my stomach frequently has other ideas ... ! But I have come to the conclusion that, where food is not in short supply (eg UK), how much one eats is governed by more than just plain hunger and it is not fully understood. Hence my good days and bad days. It is most inconsistent. The diary you use is fine if it works for you. I just felt I needed more exposure to potential censure by strangers to keep me on the correct path to my goal and, largely, it seems to work - even if it is a bit uncomfortable at times to confess things. But I am getting there.

Best of luck with the dieting anyway !
