First a summary of yesterday (Friday) :

Calories : 1919. No naughties; just too much overall.

Exercise : only a short run of about 12 mins.

Not been my finest week folks and the scales show this up as I am stuck on 176 lbs. At least I did not increase in weight, I am happy to say.

I have definitely overdone it on the nutrition front, with my budget of 1700 cals per day left way behind. On the exercise front I have varied between total inactivity on one day to an excessive (for me) one hour of running on two occasions. Rather so-so for exercise, I suppose, in summary.

Definitely in the doldrums this project. Needs a bit of a push to reach the finish line. Next weekend is the anniversary of my start out on this wobbly route and I am still quite a bit off the final target. But I am not too discouraged and I have noted a slow improvement in my fitness with the passing weeks, even if the weight loss aspect has slowed to near invisibility. Some of my clothes really no longer fit properly - if they ever did. Anyway, I will conduct a more qualitative and quantitative review next weekend.

Miserable day today but I have already been out running and this afternoon should see me getting slowly hypothermic in the easterly wind and rain, hopefully watching my local football team win the division championship !
