The scales said 176 lbs this morning, folks ! Dead chuffed with that; I am at my lightest weight for 30 years or so.

However, for completeness' sake here is a summary of yesterday (Friday) :

Calories : 1673.

Exercise : Short run, only lasting 12 mins.

I was really quite determined this week to stick to the parameters I have set myself after the past few weeks of serial lapses. Had it not been for that cold vigil watching the football match on Tuesday night I would not have had that Mars Bar and would have stayed on average below target of 1700 cals per day for the week. Hey ho. But it seems to have done little damage and I am sure that the occasional treat is harmless.

So, you see, it pays to stay on track. All I have to do now is repeat this past week's vigilance in the coming week(s) and I will be at my target of 161 lbs by mid-summer. Approximately-ish.

Sorry this is a bit late for those of you who have been wondering where my report was. I had quite honestly forgotten all about it. And there will be another of my daily reports in about 12 hours time for you insomniacs out there.
